NAIW Membership Makes Sense

 The National Association of Insurance Women Int’l is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality educational and professional development programs to its members.  Here is a summary of some of the benefits you can enjoy:

  • Continuing Education Qualifying programs – Many local associations sponsor educational opportunities that meeting Continuing Education requirements across the country.  These programs are offered at reasonable prices as a service to members and in the insurance community in general.  With the diversity of membership, you are sure to find a CE program that is relevant!
  • Professional Education – NAIW develops and sponsors programs to develop a wide range of skills including negotiating, selling techniques, communication, mentoring, etc..  Please peruse the complete list of courses at www.naiw.org for more details.
  • Leadership Development – NAIW has leadership opportunities at all different levels to help you practice and develop leadership skills in addition to providing programs to further hone your abilities.
  • Industry Contacts – We provide a unique opportunity to develop and nurture contacts in all aspects of risk management and insurance.  Our diversity gives members a unique opportunity to connect with other people in many different areas of the industry.
  • Publications – NAIW International publishes “Today’s Insurance Professional,” a high quality magazine distributed to all members with relevant, quality information on industry trends and issues.  In addition, they regularly publish a newsletter and e-mail letter to keep members informed.  Many local associations also offer local bulletins to keep members updated on local trends or information.
  • Awards/Scholarships/Designations – All levels of the organization offer awards recognizing the achievement of members.  Members are also eligible for special scholarships to help further their education in the insurance and risk management industry.  NAIW even offers its own industry-recognized designations, CPIM/W (Certified Professional Insurance Man/Woman) and DAE (Diversified Advanced Education).
